This was the best moving company we have ever used. We have moved many times over the last 38 years and Peter Thompson Moving, Lakewood NJ offered the best and friendliest service. The estimate was right on target and there was no attempt to up the bill by the moving men the day of the move.

The moving truck came on time as promised. They worked non stop until all of our things were packed on the truck. They charged a nominal fee for storing everything overnight. They arrived the next morning at our new house on time and unloaded everything quickly and efficiently. Nothing was broken or damaged. The moving men were excellent. We moved out of our townhouse on 11/29. The crew and moving van arrived promptly at 8:30. After removing all the items from the townhouse, we all headed to Public Storage. The crew was knowledgeable and very courteous. Our items were held overnight for a very minimal fee. The crew was at our house waiting for us to return from the closing on Friday afternoon. Upon on arrival, they went right to work. There were no items damaged during the move. We had more boxes than furniture this was the reason for the slight increase in price. Not an issue with us!

…Mike Robberson came out to the house and gave us the estimate. He was knowledgeable, efficient and did a great job. Moreover, the estimate was fair.  On the day of the move Mike and his colleague were efficient, careful, clean and everything went quickly. The next day, bright and early, Mike and his colleague delivered the goods. They did a superb job and were very cooperative.  We did not have a single problem with any of our furniture and goods.

I would like to express my appreciation to your company and, in particular, to Michael Robberson, your operations manager and your truck driver, Norman, for the excellent move of my families belongings from Overland Park, KS to Lakewood, NJ. The load was 8500lbs, had to be put in storage and arrived in our apartment in top notch condition.  This was no small achievement given the delicate nature of our possessions.

Perhaps all that should be expected from a professional company, but I never take such things for granted. Moreover, my favorable experience goes far beyond that. As you might have gathered, I was rather apprehensive as I began making my moving plans.  Mike succeeded in putting me at ease, emphasized the personal and cut through the complexities of the move. Indeed, it was from my several conversations with Mike that led me to choose Atlas-Peter A. Thomson.  His manner evinced a pride in his company and also with his coworkers.  The positive attitude of a professional family was pervasive, extending to their customers as well.

My husband and I recently used you on our latest move from Brooklyn to Jersey City. You were recommended to us by a company called Bedbugs and Beyond.  Unfortunately, we had bedbugs and after trying for months to eradicate the problem we knew it was time to move.  When we set the appointment with Bedbugs and Beyond they told us we could rent and load our own trailer or use a moving company who was willing to drop a truck for up to 36 hrs. They recommended you guys because you had done this work before and knew how the process worked.  Well, we are glad we went with their recommendation. It has been over two months now and our new apartment is, knock on wood, bedbug free.

Sir, we moved to Tennessee in May, but we have been meaning to write this letter and have been very busy settling in.  We live on top of a mountain that is very high with a narrow winding road leading to the property.  I wrote the name of the driver on a piece of paper that I cannot find but I think his name was Daniel.  All of your men were great but we especially wanted to recognize him for his professionalism, as well as, the wonderful job he did driving to our home.  Our belongings arrived on time and in excellent condition.  Thank you again for a wonderful job.  J.
