Referral Registration

In the next few days we will be posting a new registration form on our website for real estate agents and others who wish to refer business to us. The purpose of the form will be to allow us to effectively and efficiently send out referral checks once referral job is booked. We will automatically send out checks to those agents who are registered. There will be no need to call us; just make sure you call us with your clients name so we can match you in the system or be sure your client tells us you were a referral source.

bed bug dogs find them we help eradicate them

The New York Times issued another story yesterday about the growing use of bed bug sniffing dogs to help apartment dwellers zero in on the infestation. Sometimes infestations are confined to one area while other infestations are apartment wide. Unfortunately, in my situation, and in most others, bed bugs often find their way off the bed and into the couch or dresser or even into your electronics. When that happens, and I speak from experience, the best thing to do is just to load up all your belongings and have them fumigated with Vikane Gas.
Before I fumigated all my belongings and finally became bed bug free I used a PCO to spray my apartment and I lived out of the plastic bags and it was not a good existence. I finally broke down and called Bed Bugs and Beyond. I cannot state it emphatically enough that fumigation works. In the long run it is cheaper and more effective than using a PCO.
In full disclosure my company does not make any money off the fumigation. We do not get paid referral fees. I used them, it worked, and now I just want to share the message. We only make money if you decide to use us for the movement and/or storage of your belongings. Fumigation is just another service that we offer that most moving companies do not. The problem is getting out of control

New York/New Jersey to Florida: the exodus continues.

While things did slow down a bit over the winter we are seeing a real surge in New York/New Jersey to Florida activity. This is in addition to our already busy routes of New Jersey to North Carolina and New Jersey to South Carolina and New Jersey to Georgia.
Contrary to so many reports, we at Peter A. Thomson Moving & Storage have experienced a recent surge in New York to Florida relocation activity. As the “Florida Specialist” since the early 1980′s we have moved our fair share of families to Florida over the years. We have moved some families back 6 months later and others a few years later, but of course, many decided to stay and make Miami the 6th borough.

These rights and responsibilities are prescribed by the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Board of Public Movers and must be followed by every mover in the State of New Jersey. Always Choose a Professional Mover

More and more these days people are looking for new ways to save money and stretch their already limited budget. We understand. We too are always looking for new and innovative ways to save money while maintaining our excellent customer service.
With houses selling for less these days we understand that people are trying to spend less on moving costs. People are packing their own belongings, or are trying to sell furniture to new home buyers or through various other means to lessen the load. We understand and think it is a smart thing to do.
What we don’t think is a smart thing to do though is to hire a non-professional moving company. There are so many professional moving companies to choose from and we strongly recommend always choosing a professional.

So, always find the best deal you can, but please only use professional movers.

Introducing Our Paid Referral Program

In our business, referrals are everything. We are very proud of not only the abundance of repeat business we receive, but also of the many wonderful referrals our customers send our way. We believe it says a lot about our company and the great customer service we offer.
However, we need more. We have a well established name and reputation in South Jersey but we want to expand. We strongly believe that these difficult financial times offer us a great opportunity to expand our reach and prove to new customers across the state that we offer the best service for the money.
